HD Trailer The story so far: Various Prizes for THE FATHERLESS THE FATHERLESS celebrated a critically acclaimed worldpremiere at this year’s BERLINALE and received a special mention by the BEST FIRST FEATURE Jury. Back home Marie Kreutzer’s debut won several awards including the GRAND PRIZE at DIAGONALE 2011, the festival of Austrian film. Marion Mitterhammer’s and Johannes Krisch’s acting were acknowledged with prizes. Leena Koppe was the first woman ever to win the DIAGONALE PRIZE for BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY for her camerawork on THE FATHERLESS. At BOZNER FILMTAGE in April, THE FATHERLESS was elected BEST FEATURE. THE FATHERLESS in theaters all over germanspeaking Europe: At the time being, THE FATHERLESS is screening in cinemas in Austria and Switzerland. Next Stop Germany: 4. August 2011! GANGSTER GIRLS We are very happy to announce that Tina Leisch’s documentary GANGSTER GIRLS will be opening the film program „Performing Documentary“ at the Arsenal in Berlin! DIVERSE STORIES The second season of our script development program DIVERSE STORIES is working out very well. We just finished the third workshop weekend! Three of this years participants were invited to BABYLON Europe and attended workshops in Rotterdam and Cannes. Additionally we are happy to congratulate two of our first season DIVERSE STORIES participants to the awards they received at DIAGONALE. - Diagonale Award for best Short Film to Umut Dag for his film „Papa“ - Diagonale Audience Award to Arman T.
