As consultants, Witcraft assists authors, directors, producers and editors in their various stages of conceptual work to counsel them in their respective fields on the revision of exposés, treatments or screenplays. With trained but not bookish advisors like us, material can be optimized according to the specific needs at hand.
Our offer involves editorial reports, analysis, specialist counseling and project maintenance, doctoring, author support, and revisions/rewrites.
We offer script consulting for German, English, Italian and Russian material.

Screenplay analysis from 3 to 5 pages. This includes a synopsis and analysis of characters, themes, structure and dialogue, as well as an estimate of the development’s potential and suggestions for solutions to any possible problems our analysis anticipates.

Project support
|
Continuous support throughout the project, with up to four treatment or screenplay drafts.
We make up to two screenplay analyses of 5 to 7 pages, each with problem-solving solutions for the next phases of development.
This also includes preparation of breakdowns for meetings.
Ongoing work and advisory meetings during the agreed-upon development time period. This includes consultations before and after meetings with producers.

Rewrite
Script Doctoring
|
Analysis of the screenplay includes a detailed analysis of all aspects of the treatment or screenplay, as well as an appraisal of its stage of development and identification of possible solutions.
Agreement upon further orientation of the screenplay will be made after possible solutions have been identified and decided upon.
On-going work and advisory meetings during the agreed-upon length of time of development (including consultations before and after meetings with producers).

Literature Coverage
|
Written assessment of the potential for being filmed from the novel or short-story source, in addition to the Editorial Report 4 to 8 pages.
