Witcraft helps turning ideas into shooting scripts. Founded in 2008 by Ursula Wolschlager and Robert Buchschwenter, the company promotes the development of creative writing in film. Witcraft supports the developmental process of screenplays by providing professional script consulting along with planned use of resources, with the passion of people who feel that stories are a crucial element of proper life.

Witcraft promotes this activity in the following spheres:
- Development of fictional and documentary films for cinema and television by working with the screenwriter. Here Witcraft functions as a production company in the phase of development and packaging. Subsequently the scripts, now ready for production, are placed in the hands of leading producers either as co-productions or on a buy-out basis.
- Script consulting and development supervising for scriptwriters and producers in Austria and in german-, english-, russian-, or italian-speaking territories.
- Design of tailor-made training, workshops and programs for concept and material development, with expert implementation.

Writing a screenplay means drawing upon experience to create a world which a future audience can perceive as its own sphere of experience. This requires creativity and expertise, spirit and perseverance, vision and concentration, inspiration and sensitivity, along with a radical and pragmatic approach.
